Between Days at The Eveleigh
Thanks to Perry over at the Eveleigh we got to enjoy everything that this rustic retreat has to offer. An intricate full menu compliments their very complete and approachable cocktail menu and presents tons of options for great pairings and a full belly. We pulled up a seat and let the man behind the bar work his magic.
First we have the In Between Days. It’s a vodka based concoction mixed with a dry vermouth and a house made grapefruit tarragon syrup, then finished with a splash of soda. This had a great, simple taste that left you craving more. Not too sweet, not too tart, just the right kind of start.
Next we have the Eveleigh Lemonade, which has a house made chamomile infused tequila that blew our minds. It’s combined with orange liqueur, honey, and fresh lemon juice. A tart and refreshing treat that tastes like summertime at your fingertips.
Last we have the appropriately named Peach Cobbler. A cognac based cocktail with lemon juice, two types of sherry, and a peach syrup that soothes you up in all the right ways. This one was extremely well balanced with a mild kick of citrus.
